the garden

Our late summer garden is buzzing with activity!
Lots of fresh, ripe goods,
helping hands watering, weeding, and harvesting,
curious critters exploring the terrain (some welcome and some not so welcome...away from my tomatoes, pesky chickens!),
and general excitement over our very first successful gardening venture!!!

Doesn't everything taste better fresh from the garden?  Oh yes.

Trish, I'm so impressed! Looks like all that hard work paid off. You're right, nothing tasted better that food right from the garden!

Everything definitely tastes better from the garden. Makes me wonder how I even choke down a tomato the rest of the year after eating them fresh from the bush right now.

gorgeous produce Tricia! Great job! I got pretty much nothing this year, my tomato plant is huge, with no tomatoes. And i was fighting those fat nasty green worms daily. yucko! Glad you had such great success.
